INDUSTRIAL REGISTRY CERTIFICATE
What is an Industrial Registry Certificate?
It is a document that is given to industrial enterprises evaluated within the scope of Article 1 of the Industrial Registry Law No. 6948, enterprises that carry out continuous and serial repairs, and large construction sites such as power plants that produce electricity or other energy, and shipbuilding, and must be obtained within 2 months from the date the enterprise starts production activities.
In accordance with Article 1 of the Law;
Industrial Enterprises Employing at Least 1 Worker Are Required to Register in the Industrial Registry.
In Article 1 of the Industrial Registry Law;
“Places that manufacture or produce continuously and in series by partially or completely changing the quality, shape, property or composition of a substance with the help of machines, devices, benches, tools or other means and forces or only by hand labor, and places where minerals are extracted and processed (Industrial Enterprises) and the work done in these places (Industrial Works) are considered.
Establishments that carry out continuous and serial repairs, power plants that produce electricity or other (other) energy, and large construction sites such as shipbuilding are also included in the scope of this article.
Handicrafts and home crafts and small repair shops are not subject to this law.”
The industrial enterprise to be registered in the industrial registry must have a workplace where it will carry out its production activities or must have rented such a workplace for at least one year. In this case, the validity period of the Industrial Registry Certificate is limited to the rental period.
Benefits of Industrial Registry Certificate to Industrial Enterprises
They benefit from the VAT deferment-cancellation process for deliveries of goods with export registration. (They do not pay VAT.)
They pay their electricity bills according to the Industrial Subscriber Tariff. A copy of the Industrial Registry Certificate must be submitted to TEDAŞ within the due date.
They are advantageous in determining the local bidders included in the Public Procurement Law.
They benefit from the support provided by public institutions and organizations.
Activities Not Accepted for Registration in the Industrial Registry
Egg, Chick, Mushroom Production
Laundry, Carpet, Rug Washing Services
Filling the Audio and Video Tapes
Cold Storage Works (Excluding Waxing and Freezing)
Drying of Plants, Vegetables and Fruits in Natural Form
Sorting, Preservation and Calibration (Sizing, Sifting etc.) Works of Legumes, Cereals and Fruits and Vegetables.
Packaging and Wrapping Works
